Theme Four (2nd and 3rd grade) was Amazing Animals! During this unit of study, students wrote research reports on an animal from the rain forest. We invited our families to come see our finished projects. The students put on a Reader's Theater performance of the Great Kapok Tree for our friends and families. Each child also memorized and recited an animal poem for our guests.
