Thank you to the Montalvo Family who surprised us with ocean life decorations for our classroom! It was a great surprise and we love the giant lobster and turtle!
Ocean life has taken over our room. Our class is overflowing with stuffed sea creatures! We are reading about ocean life in reading, writing about ocean life in writing, learning about ocean life in science, etc.
The students have been working hard on their ocean animal reports. We are completing the project in class, however, students are welcome to do additional research by going to the library or searching on a computer at home. Students are also welcome to complete extra credit projects at home such as a diorama, poster board, or multi-media presentation.
In science, we are conducting an experiment to see if animals can live in both fresh water and salt water. We are waiting for our little brine shrimp eggs to hatch :)
